Archiving Policy
Archiving Policy
The Journal of Leadership, Ethics, Governance, and Sustainable Innovation (JLEGSI) maintains a robust digital archiving and preservation strategy to ensure that all published content remains permanently accessible and secure for future reference.
All issues of JLEGSI are published and hosted on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, where they are stored in a centralised and protected digital environment. To guarantee the long-term preservation of the scholarly record, the journal participates in the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides distributed, persistent archiving of OJS content across a network of certified repositories.
Self-Archiving Policy
JLEGSI fully supports the principles of open access and encourages authors to disseminate their work widely. Authors are permitted and encouraged to self-archive any version of their article which includes preprint, accepted manuscript, or final published version without embargo.
Permitted Deposits
Authors may deposit and share their work in:
- Institutional or subject repositories (e.g., university digital archives);
- Personal or departmental websites
- Authors may share their work on academic and professional networking platforms, such as ResearchGate, edu, Mendeley, or LinkedIn; and Course websites or electronic learning management systems for teaching or training purposes.
Attribution and Citation
When archiving, authors must:
- Include a complete citation of the original article as published in JLEGSI; and
- Provide a link (URL or DOI) to the version of record on the journal’s website to ensure proper attribution and citation tracking.
Sharing and Distribution
Authors are also welcome to share copies of their published articles directly with colleagues, students, or collaborators. There are no restrictions or additional permissions required for such sharing, provided proper citation is maintained.
