The Journal of Leadership, Ethics, Governance, and Sustainable Innovation (JLEGSI) is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for its 2026 issues.

JLEGSI is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary scholarship on leadership, ethical governance, sustainable innovation, and organisational transformation within African and global contexts.

What We Are Looking For

We invite original, high-quality contributions including:

  • Empirical research articles

  • Conceptual and theoretical papers

  • Case studies and policy papers

  • Practitioner reflections and book reviews

  • Special issue proposals from:

    • Green and Sustainable Conferences

    • Doctoral symposia

    • International research collaborations (e.g., Hungary, Ghana)

Publication Schedule

  • Frequency: Biannual (June and December)

  • Format: Digital, open-access

  • Platform: NWU institutional repository or approved publishing platform

 Submission Highlights

  • Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere

  • Word count: 5,000–6,000 words

  • Language: British English

  • Referencing style: APA 7th edition

  • Submissions undergo editorial screening and double-blind peer review

  • Initial editorial decision: 4 weeks

  • Peer review: 5 weeks

  • Publication: Within  5 months of submission

Authors should submit manuscripts via the JLEGSI online submission portal.
The corresponding author will receive a confirmation email and can track progress online.
